Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools.

  1. Install steering wheel: Align and tighten bolt.
  2. Attach seat: Mount using provided bolts and washers.
  3. Connect battery: Attach red (+) then black (-) cables.
  4. Install mower deck: Lower deck onto mounting points and secure with pins.
  5. Add engine oil: Use SAE 30 or 10W-30; fill to dipstick mark.
  6. Add fuel: Use fresh unleaded gasoline (87 octane minimum).

WARNING! Tractor is heavy; use assistance during assembly. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.

Controls & Operation

Familiarize yourself with controls before starting.

  1. Starting: Sit on seat, set parking brake, move PTO to OFF, turn key to START.
  2. Driving: Release parking brake, press brake pedal to disengage transmission lock, use forward/reverse pedals to move.
  3. Mowing: Engage PTO switch to activate mower blades.
  4. Stopping: Disengage PTO, set parking brake, turn key to OFF.

CAUTION! Always sit in seat when starting. Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.

Mower Deck Operation

The 46-inch deck offers three cutting options.

  1. Mulching: Install mulch plug; grass clippings are finely cut and returned to lawn.
  2. Bagging: Attach grass bagger to rear; clippings are collected.
  3. Side Discharge: Remove mulch plug; clippings are discharged to side.
  4. Height Adjustment: Use lever to raise/lower deck to desired height.
  5. Blade Engagement: Engage PTO only when engine is at full throttle.

Tip: For best results, mow when grass is dry and overlap cutting paths slightly.
