Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Ensure all hardware is present.

  1. Install steering wheel: Align splines and secure with provided nut.
  2. Attach seat: Position on seat plate and secure with bolts.
  3. Connect battery: Attach red (+) then black (-) cables.
  4. Install cutting deck: Align with mounting points and secure with pins and belts.
  5. Check tire pressure: Inflate to 12 PSI (front) and 10 PSI (rear).

WARNING! Tractor is heavy; use assistance for lifting. Ensure all bolts are tightened to specified torque.

First-Time Operation

Perform pre-operation checks before starting engine.

  1. Check oil level: Ensure dipstick shows full.
  2. Add fuel: Use fresh unleaded gasoline (87 octane minimum).
  3. Adjust seat: Position for comfortable reach to all controls.
  4. Start engine: Set parking brake, engage clutch, turn key to START.

Mowing Operation

For optimal cutting performance.

  1. Set cutting height: Adjust lever to desired height.
  2. Start mower: Engage parking brake, start engine, engage PTO.
  3. Mow patterns: Overlap passes by 2-3 inches for even cut.
  4. Avoid obstacles: Watch for rocks, toys, and debris.
  5. Disengage PTO: When finished or crossing non-grass areas.
  6. Clean deck: After each use to prevent grass buildup.

WARNING! Never mow on slopes greater than 15 degrees. Always mow across slopes, not up and down.

Safety Features

Operator Presence System: Engine stops if operator leaves seat with PTO engaged. Blade Brake Clutch: Stops blades within 3 seconds of PTO disengagement. Parking Brake: Must be engaged to start engine.

Care & Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures long life and optimal performance.

  1. Check oil: Before each use; change every 50 hours.
  2. Air filter: Clean every 25 hours; replace yearly.
