Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools.

  1. Install steering wheel: Align and tighten bolt.

  3. Install battery: Connect red (+) then black (-) terminals.

Controls and Operation

  2. Driving: Release parking brake, press brake pedal to disengage transmission lock, use forward/reverse pedals.

Cutting Deck Adjustment

Proper deck leveling ensures even cut.

  1. Park on level surface, set cutting height to middle position.
  2. Measure blade tip height at all four corners of deck.
  3. Adjust lift rods to level deck (front slightly lower than rear).
  4. Recheck measurements after adjustment.

Tip: Deck should be level side-to-side, front 1/4-inch lower than rear for proper discharge.

Storage & Winterization

Prepare mower for extended storage (especially winter).

  1. Clean entire mower, especially under deck.
  2. Change oil and run engine briefly to circulate.
  3. Add fuel stabilizer to tank, run for 5 minutes.
  4. Disconnect battery, store in cool dry place.
  5. Store in covered, dry location.

WARNING! Never store with fuel in tank without stabilizer. Drain fuel if storing over 30 days.

Safety Features

Operator Presence System (OPS): Engine stops if operator leaves seat with PTO engaged. Parking Brake: Must be set to start engine. Blade Brake Clutch: Stops blades within 3 seconds when disengaged.
