Assembly Instructions

First-Time Setup

Maintenance Schedule

Regular maintenance ensures longevity and performance.

  1. After first 5 hours: Change engine oil, check all bolts.
  2. Every 25 hours: Check tire pressure, inspect blades, clean deck.
  3. Every 50 hours: Change oil, replace air filter, grease fittings.
  4. Every 100 hours: Replace spark plug, check battery.
  5. Seasonally: Sharpen/replace blades, check belts.

Tip: Always disconnect spark plug wire before performing maintenance.

Mower Deck Operation

The 42-inch deck provides even cutting with proper operation.

  1. Engage PTO only at recommended engine speed (half throttle).
  2. Mow at steady pace; avoid sudden direction changes.
  3. Overlap passes by 2-3 inches for even cutting.
  4. Disengage PTO before stopping or reversing.
  5. Clean deck after each use to prevent grass buildup.

WARNING! Never adjust deck height or clear clogs with engine running.

Storage & Winterization

Prepare tractor for extended storage (especially winter).

  1. Add fuel stabilizer to tank, run engine 5 minutes.
  2. Change oil and filter.
  3. Remove battery, store in cool dry place, charge monthly.
  4. Clean entire tractor, especially mower deck.
  5. Store in dry, covered location, preferably on level surface.

CAUTION! Gasoline left untreated can damage fuel system.
