Tip: Overlap passes by 2-3 inches for even cut. Mow when grass is dry.

Transmission Operation

The 7-speed manual requires proper shifting technique.

  1. Start in neutral: Gear lever in middle position.
  2. Depress clutch/brake pedal fully.
  3. Select gear (1 for starting, 7 for transport).
  4. Release clutch slowly while applying slight throttle.
  5. To shift up: Depress clutch, move to higher gear, release clutch.
  6. For reverse: Come to complete stop, select R.
