Controls and Operation

Handle Controls: Safety bail (must be held to run), throttle control, height adjustment lever.

Starting: 1. Check oil and fuel. 2. Push primer bulb 3 times (cold engine). 3. Set throttle to FAST. 4. Hold safety bail against handle. 5. Pull recoil starter firmly.

Stopping: Release safety bail to stop blade. Move throttle to STOP position to stop engine.

Operation Tips: Mow at steady pace; overlap passes slightly for even cut. Empty bag when full to maintain performance.

Cutting Height Adjustment

Single-lever adjustment changes height for all four wheels simultaneously.

  1. Stop engine and wait for blade to stop completely.
  2. Pull height adjustment lever outward.
  3. Move lever to desired position (1-6, lowest to highest).
  4. Release lever to lock into position.
  5. Test by rolling mower to ensure all wheels are at same height.

Tip: For first mow of season, set to highest setting. Never adjust height while engine is running.

3-in-1 Deck Function

Configure for mulching, bagging, or side-discharge.

  1. Mulching: Install mulch plug (if included). Grass is cut finely and returned to lawn as fertilizer.
  2. Bagging: Attach rear bag. Cuttings are collected for disposal.
  3. Side-Discharge: Install discharge chute. Grass is expelled to side (right).

WARNING! Always ensure appropriate attachment is securely installed before operation. Never operate without any discharge method in place.
