Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before operating. Wear appropriate safety gear.

  1. Clear mowing area of debris, toys, and obstacles.
  2. Never allow children to operate or ride on tractor.
  3. Do not mow on slopes greater than 15 degrees.
  4. Disengage PTO and set parking brake before dismounting.
  5. Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.

WARNING! Gasoline is flammable; refuel outdoors with engine off and cool. Avoid carbon monoxide poisoning; never operate in enclosed spaces.

Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools.

  1. Install steering wheel: Align and secure with provided hardware.
  2. Attach seat: Bolt seat to frame using included bolts and washers.
  3. Install battery: Connect red (+) then black (-) terminals.
  4. Add engine oil: Use SAE 30 or 10W-30; check dipstick.
  5. Add gasoline: Use fresh unleaded gasoline (87 octane minimum).
  6. Check tire pressure: Inflate to 12-15 PSI as specified.

CAUTION! Ensure all bolts are tightened securely. Test all controls before first use.

Starting Procedure: 1. Sit on seat. 2. Set parking brake. 3. Disengage PTO. 4. Move throttle to choke position (cold start). 5. Turn key to START. 6. After start, adjust throttle to desired speed.

Mowing: Engage PTO to start blades. Adjust speed with foot pedal. Use deck lift to raise/lower cutting height.

WARNING! Engine is hot during/after operation. Allow to cool before servicing.

Storage & Winterization

Prepare tractor for off-season storage.

  1. Clean entire tractor, especially underside of deck.
  2. Change engine oil and filter.
  3. Add fuel stabilizer to tank and run engine for 5 minutes.
  4. Disconnect battery negative terminal or use maintainer.
  5. Store in dry, covered area. Inflate tires to max PSI.

CAUTION! Do not store with gasoline in carburetor without stabilizer.
